For the last 30 years, Eesh Aggarwal has helped clients to protect and build their wealth, using international tax planning solutions, and offshore company and trust management.
He trained at Touche Ross, and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990. Then Eesh worked at a City of London chartered accountancy firm, specialising in international tax planning and related structures, as well as UK accountancy, audit and tax.
Eesh currently runs:
- A chartered accountancy practice in the UK –
established in 1994... - And is an international tax consultant –
established since 1997.
Initially he operated the international tax consultancy out of the Isle-of-Man. In 2000 Eesh relocated to Cyprus, to take advantage of the double taxation agreements between Cyprus and its international trading partners.
Cyprus joining the European Union in 2004 removed much of its tax haven status, including the ability to manage companies tax free. However, some advantages remain.
In response Eesh opened an office in Dubai where tax free management could continue, and expanding his client base into the Middle and Far East.
Eesh has been a guest lecturer at several prestigious organisations including: The London School of Economics, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Isle of Man), the Asia Offshore Association (Hong Kong), and the Moscow Institute of Risk Management.
He was also appointed as a lecturer on behalf of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) - the UK's financial services regulator - to teach students studying for FSA qualifications.
Eesh is a leading authority on the OECD Common Reporting Standard. He is the author of "Common Reporting Standard - Survivor's Guide to OECD Automatic Exchange of Information of Offshore Financial Accounts."
Eesh has also written various articles for the International Tax Planning Association, Money Works magazine (UAE), and publications promoting libertarian philosophy.
He lives mainly in Dubai with his wife and two sons, and enjoys chess, pistol shooting, squash... and driving his Ferrari at only 25 pence per litre!
